A short layover turned into a stayover in YUL so I ended up here involuntarily. Shuttle was convenient and hassle free, and reservation for shuttle was not required (although recommended, according to the front desk). Check-in was slower since guests (including distressed passengers like myself) came in influxes, however the team did try their best to get everyone accommodated. Public areas seemed dated, rooms on the other hand were renovated to a decent standard. Breakfast was surprisingly good, whereas service in the restaurant was not as great. The same thing actually applied to pretty much everyone, as service felt cold and ingenuine, except Henry at the front desk. Room attendants were awesome though and fun to chat with. Minor issues at check-out when I tried to attach my HHonors account, I did not receive my final bill as a result. Overall though, it was a good enough hotel for a quick night in transit.
