Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport

Let’s start from the positives – my room was spacious, breakfast was decent, location was great for YHZ and the shuttle was reliable.
Check-in was, well, fast and efficient, which is great, however I felt the process was extremely robotic. That said, the lady at the desk was clearly capable of being warm and personable, like she showcased during her conversation with her colleagues while ignoring my existence for a good minute as I walked in. The front desk was also almost always understaffed – I had to wait for the agent to finish on the phone every single time I stopped by. There was literally no elite recognition at all.
My room, like I said, was spacious. Design was a bit dated, bathroom especially, even though the hotel just went through renovation not long ago. The biggest issue however was the Wifi, which was spotty at best. This was made 100 times worse by the virtually non-existent cellular coverage in the area.
