For what the hotel was intended to be, it was adequate – a lean accommodation with a reliable shuttle for transient flyers. However, there were a lot of issues with the soft products, e.g. charging an absurd upgrade fee for diamonds even when premium rooms were available, buffet not allowing grab and go even though breakfast was included, etc etc. And no, “you can ask management” is never the right answer. This stay was the nail in the coffin for Hilton in my books – always over-promise and under-deliver, nickel-and-dime on everything, consistently.
